I went to Nail Expression on the 16th to get an acrylic overlay with a clear coat of gel polish on top of my natural nails. I also got my cuticle clipped because the lady who serviced me told me that she could not fully remove my finger nail polish. I was charged $47 for the services. I returned to the salon (on the 25th) and complained, about my ongoing issues, to the elderly lady who serviced me that A) my cuticles where still sensitive to warm water from her clipping them to far, B) my natural nails where breaking (underneath the acrylic), C) since my natural nails were separating from the acrylic that dirt was in between them so instead of a french manicure look I had dirt spots under the acrylic, D) there was lack of "gel polish" on several of my nails (which was an additional $5), E) several nails have dark spots in the acrylic, F) my cuticles will not smooth out--I'm constantly clipping the skin that is peeling up. The elderly lady immediately got loud and accused me of being over my two week fill in period. I pulled up my bank statement to prove to her that it had not been two weeks. I could not get her to understand my side; she was very persistant in letting me know that she did a good job and anyone else would tell me the same thing. I asked for a refund-she refused and offered NOTHING.
