About Pamela
Pamela Nye is a Certified Archivist who has worked in archives since 1991. She has earned a B.A. in International Studies as a joint degree between Marlboro College and the School for International Training in Vermont, as well as a Masters in Library Science from Clark Atlanta University.
She worked at the Georgia Department of Archives and History for 12 years, and as a freelance archivist has worked for a variety of non-profit, business, and educational clients. She is currently an active member of the Society of American Archivists, the Society of Georgia Archivists, and the Association of Professional Genealogists.
She is a very happy transplant to Duluth, and is glad that she is raising her family here. Her girls are active in Girl Scouting, and she is the co-leader of two Girl Scout Troops. As a volunteer archivist, she is on the Board of the Duluth Historical Society.
