My rant is directed at Ryan. I hate when someone sets rules, specifically #2, and then breaks his own rules. I believe goober can be considered name calling. :)
However, goober just may be appropriate. I mean what's wrong with small creepy blue creatures and what did they ever do to you?

Great example right now are the Braves games. I can get home from work, have a relaxing dinner, spend time with my kids until they go to sleep. Then I will start the game. I usually catch up to the live game by the end. I get quality time with family and still able to watch the entire game. That is a win-win. Thank you Mr. DVR inventor!

ReplyI have DirecTV and love it as it gives me my fix for all that is sports. But, I rarely watch “live” TV anymore. It’s all about time management. I DVR only what I want to watch and then watch when I can. 30 minute shows turn into 22 minutes by fast forwarding commercials. A 1 hour show is 45 minutes. Sports games of 3-4 hours I can watch in half the time.

ReplyJason Collins is a free agent and currently not on a team, one of the reasons he decided to come out now rather than when he was on a team. So technically he can’t get fired from anyone. Of course, if there aren’t any teams that want to pick him up he could complain that it is because he is gay, but in reality it would be more because he is an older bench player who averaged only 1 point a game last year.
I don’t have to like or agree with his lifestyle, but I still choose to love the individual. I wish him well.
