Gwinnett residents who want to offer input on a draft list of projects to be funded by the Transportation SPLOST in 2012 will have a chance Monday. The Atlanta Regional Commission will host a transportation roundtable from 5-7 p.m. at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center. This forum is one of 12 being held around the region as the Roundtable solicits feedback from the public on the more than $6 billion in transportation investments, the ARC said in a news release. Attendees can view a presentation, speak with transportation experts and complete a survey. The presentation and survey also will be available online by visiting www.atlantaregionalroundtable.com and can be seen on TVGwinnett, the county's cable TV access channel. “…

Gwinnett County Boy Scouts invited the public to attend their Scout Surge 9/11 event on Sunday. Local heroes from the fire and police departments from Gwinnett County, Walton County and the City of Lawrenceville were honored, and American flags were presented during the special event. Congressman Rob Woodall was among those present at the ceremony at the Gwinnett County Justice and Administrative Center. Here is a look at the event through a series of photographs.
