A Spring fashion show, storytimes, the Chicken Dance and 'Peter Rabbit'
Huge weekend of things to do with your kids. Some great storytimes, a Spring fashion show, the Chicken Dance and "Peter Rabbit." So make some plans, grab the kids and go! Moms & Tots - This week features a spring fashion show, so moms, bring your little ones to Gwinnett Place Mall from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and enjoy songs, stories, games, crafts and more. Free for Simon Kidgits Club members. $5 for non-members. "Peter Rabbit" at the New Dawn Theater - Beatrix Potter's classic story about a rabbit who can't resist temptation opens this weekend at the New Dawn Theater Company. Presented by Rising Star Productions, "Peter Rabbit" will give kids a great introductory theater experience through audience participation with movement and music. …

Cat in the Hat coming to Duluth Library, 30 plays in 60 minutes at Duluth HS
Variety is the spice of life, especially if you have kids. Seriously, some of you could recite entire scripts from Dora if you had to. So this week shake it up a bit with a modern-day Mozart, awesome stories and a certain cat in a hat. Duluth High School Play "30/60" - This Friday, both parents and kids get a chance to be part of a unique concept in theater. Duluth High School's Drama Department presents "30/60" (30 plays in 60 minutes), a show that lets the audience participate in their theater experience. Meet the Cat in the Hat - Legendary Dr. Seuss character, The Cat in the Hat, will be paying a visit to the Duluth Public Library this Saturday. Bring the kids out to meet him and get a picture. It looks like the weather over the next few days will be spectacular. Get the kids out of the house while you can because it'll surely snow again before March. Celebrate Arbor Day With the City of Duluth - Celebrate Arbor Day on Friday by planting a tree in the Duluth Town Green in honor of Jack Wynn and in honor of Fred Bishop at Bunten Road Park. Refreshments will follow the ceremony. Fish Feeding Frenzy. A Saturday tradition event at Discover Mills, the Fish Feeding Frenzy at Bass Pro Shops is a great place to take the kids to feed some fish and learn about the outdoors.
