Bites Nearby: Pho Dai Loi #3

The newest outpost of Buford Highway's legendary Pho locations.

  This week's Bites Nearby highlights the latest member of an award-winning dynasty in the Atlanta restaurant world.  Pho Dai Loi #3 -- Winner of Best Vietnamese in Creative Loafing's 2008 Best of Atlanta, Pho Dai Loi is right at home amidst the excellent Asian restaurants around the Pleasant Hill corridor. It's simple menu features Vietnamese favorites in four categories. For starters, they serve a variety of egg rolls. Follow up with an entree from a selection of Pho, Bun, and Com. The Pho broth is clear, rich, and flavorful, loaded with noodles and meat (their beef being the focus in this dish). Bun is cold rice noodles served with such things as shrimp, beef, chicken, and pork. Com is basically the same thing as bun but with rice …
