Two Suspects Arrested in Tong Tong Armed Robbery

Getaway vehicle riddled with 13 bullet holes, windows shot out in gunfire exchange with Duluth Police officers.

  Duluth Police have arrested two suspects involved in the Nov. 22 armed robbery of the Tong Tong Massage Parlor at 3294 Peachtree Industrial Blvd. and a gunfire exchange with two Duluth officers. Neither the officers nor the suspects were wounded. In a press conference at the Duluth Public Safety Center Wednesday (Dec. 14) afternoon, Capt. Mark Hunter reported that Jessica Mae MacMillan, 27, had been arrested at home in Marietta Tuesday (Dec. 13), and Jonathan Douglas MacMillan, 27, who was not at home at the time, turned himself in later to police in Duluth. The Cobb County Police Department and SWAT Team assisted Duluth Police. The MacMillans both have been charged with four counts of armed robbery, two counts of assault upon a police …

Duluth Police Looking for Armed Robbery Suspects

Police vehicles hit, officers not injured in gunfire exchange with suspect armed with handgun.

  Duluth Police are on the lookout for two suspects involved in the armed robbery of a massage parlor on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard Tuesday night. Officers responded to an armed robbery in progress call at the Tong Tong Massage Parlor about 8:55 p.m., Maj. Don Woodruff reported. “One of the suspects was sitting in a getaway car. The other suspect [armed with a handgun] was coming down the steps [of the massage parlor] and engaged the first police officer who arrived in gunfire,” Woodruff said. A second officer who arrived on the scene about the same time also was involved in the gunfire exchange, he said.
