Update: Father of Slain Norcross Teen Arrested

Nicholas Jackson Sr., the father of the Norcross teen who was fatally shot in February, was taken into custody for a DEA investigation.

Nicholas Jackson Sr., the father of the Norcross High freshman who was fatally shot in his home in February, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant relating to a federal DEA investigation.  The 38-year-old Norcross resident, along with eight other suspects, have been charged with possession of drugs with the intent to distribute, according to an indictment filed July 25 with the U.S. District Court obtained by Norcross Patch. The suspects were allegedly part of a conspiracy to distribute at least five kilograms of cocaine and 50 kilograms of marijuana. The charges state that the incidents go back to January 2011. Spa Shooter Matches Same Suspect in La. Shooting

The spa shooter in last Tuesday's murder-suicide was the same person acquitted of killing three men in a 1989 Louisiana incident.

According to the Shreveport Times sourcing the Associated Press, the spa shooter in last Tuesday's murder-suicide was the same person acquitted of killing three men in 1989 in Louisiana. Jefferson Parish officials have confirmed with the newspaper that records indicate Jeong Soo Paek, the 59-year-old shooter who killed his two sisters and their husbands at Su Jung Health Sauna, was acquitted of the slayings in a New Orleans suburb. The article reported that Sang Pok Yi, 54, and his sons, 26-year-old Sang "Robert" Man Yi and 27-year-old Sung Tae Yi were fatally shot at a home in the suburb of Metairie. Update: Norcross Spa Shooting Leaves 5 Dead

Norcross PD reports a man entered the Su Jung Health Sauna and shot four family members before turning the gun on himself.

Updated 7:04 p.m., Wednesday Five people were killed in what Norcross Police have confirmed as a domestic-related shooting at a Buford Highway spa Tuesday night. Norcross Police Spokesman Capt. Brian Harr said in a press release at 1:49 p.m. Wednesday that the suspect shot his two sisters and their husbands around 8:40 p.m. inside Su Jung Health Sauna, located at 6005 Buford Highway. The suspect then shot himself. Four of the family members were found dead inside when police responded. One victim died later at a local hospital. Police have not yet released the names of the deceased. In a press conference early Wednesday, Police Chief Warren Summers said the incident may be a "murder-suicide" and that the victims were targeted. The shooter …

Updated: 15-Year-Old Shot, Killed During Break-In

Six people charged with murder of the Norcross High School freshman.

Updated Feb. 3, 11 a.m.  An incident on the 300 block Autry Street in downtown Norcross last night has resulted in the death of 15-year-old Nick Jackson II, according to Cpt. Brian Harr of the Norcross Police Dept. Police responded to a call of burglary in progress at 6:30 p.m. on Autry Street and discovered that a teen been shot. He was transported to a hospital where he later died.  Jackson was a freshman at Norcross High School. His sister, Nikia, was also home at the time, but was not injured, according to a report from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. She said that the men broke into the house and went straight to Jackson's room.  "A number of people are being questioned who are not related to the house," said Cpt. Gosh, I still can't believe this happened to Nick Nick. Wow!! Heartbreaking. What has this work come too. It seems like when you raise your kids the right way trouble finds them anyways.
