Duluth residents Pam and Larry Smith are opening an Art Studio/Gallery on Main Street in downtown Duluth Dec. 1. The gallery will feature original paintings and 3-dimensional art by noted American artists. Art classes will be offered starting in January 2013. The new business will be located in Suite 101 of 3150 Main St.
New Buford Highway attraction offers laser tag arena, laser maze, and popular arcade games.
Laser Voyage Café, a new family entertainment center that opened in Duluth New Year’s Eve, offers pirate-themed laser tag in a two-story arena, an arcade filled with cutting-edge games, and the very first laser maze in Georgia. The laser tag arena features a spectacular 55-foot-long pirate ship with three ramps for play. In the laser maze, designed by Funovation, players dodge a network of more than 20 lasers to reach a secret treasure chest. Players are timed and compete to achieve the lowest score. Players can choose from eight different games in the laser tag arena including capture the flag and Zombie. “We can vary the levels of difficulty to accommodate everyone from new to competitive players,” General Manager Brian Luallan said. …
