Gwinnett Deputies' Sons Face Off in BCS Title Game
The sons of two of Gwinnett Sheriff's deputies will meet on the field as Alabama and Notre Dame play in the BCS National Championship Game.
The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office has a unique stake in this year’s 2013 Discover BCS Championship Game between No. 1 ranked Notre Dame “Fighting Irish” and No. 2 ranked Alabama “Crimson Tide." Two Sheriff’s deputies have sons playing in the game -- Gwinnett County Deputy Sheriff Tamara Tuitt-Bartlett and Reserve Deputy Sheriff Jerome Hubbard. The BCS National Championship Game will be played at 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL. The game will be televised on ESPN. Reserve Deputy Hubbard’s son Adrian Hubbard, a Norcross High School graduate, is a starting outside linebacker for the Crimson Tide.
