Hertz has put up a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the murder of Monique Marlowe of Duluth, according to a media update issued by the Gwinnett Police Department. Anyone with information on this case should contact Homicide Unit detectives at 770-513-5300. The Gwinnett Police Department Homicide Unit is continuing to investigate the homicide, which occurred between 5 and 5:30 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Hertz Rent-A-Car located at 3492 Satellite Blvd. in unincorporated Duluth. A young woman was found behind the Hertz Rent-a-Car near the intersection of Satellite Boulevard and Merchants Way at about 5 p.m. Friday. She was transported to the hospital, but didn't survive.

The Gwinnett County Police Department is investigating a homicide that happened at about 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, near the intersection of Satellite Boulevard and Merchants Way in unincorporated Duluth. Police say Monique Marlowe, believed to be about 25 years old, was found behind the Hertz Rent-a-Car adjacent to the Gwinnett County Transit pick-up/drop-off hub. Marlowe was transported to Gwinnett County Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead. Marlowe's address was not released, but the next of kin has been notified, according to police.
