Bond Denied for Intruder Shot by Loganville Mother

Paul Slater, who was shot by a Loganville woman last month during a break-in, has now been released from the hospital and is being held without bond at the Walton County Detention Center.

The Walton County Sheriff's Office confirmed that Paul Slater, who was shot by a Loganville mother on Jan. 4 when he broke into her home, has now been released from Gwinnett Medical Center and is being held without bond in the Walton County Detention Center in Monroe, GA. He is charged with possession of tools for commission of a crime, aggravated assaul tand burglary in first degree. WCSO's Capt. Greg Hall said that he was being held without bond also for violating probation. "If he has a lawyer he will be able to petition the Superior Court or for another appearance in front of a magistrate judge," Hall said. "He should have a preliminary hearing -- possibly in a couple of weeks." Hall said Slater was picked up from the hospital Sunday …

Good for her, she should have killed him. Would have removed low life scum. Just more trash that will do it again to someone else in the future. After he gets out of jail because of some lousy money hungry lawyer on some dumb reason. I am sick of these criminals who think they can do what ever they want to anyone they want.
