Gwinnett Transit Enhances Service in Duluth Area
Additional bus stops added in commercial areas along Satellite Boulevard, Duluth Highway and Boggs Road.
Gwinnett County Transit (GCT) implemented service enhancements to both Express and Local Service starting Monday (Jan. 28). The improvements include additional bus stops along Satellite Boulevard, Duluth Highway and Boggs Road in the Duluth area. Enhancements include linking bus routes, adding stops and extending service times to better meet the needs of downtown and local commuters without adding additional operating costs, according to a press release issued by Gwinnett County. “These service enhancements will eliminate some transfers and long wait times as well as add stops within walking distances of more workplaces,” said Gwinnett Transit Director Phil Boyd. “Our hope is that these changes meet the demand of our riders and encourage …

Can't wait until the County Commission puts a binding referendum on the ballot & allow Gwinnett citizens another chance to join MARTA. Then, extend the rail line straight up the I-85 median / right of way. more ›
