Gwinnett Police Identify Couple in Homicide-Suicide

Charles and Sylvia Junn were residents of Duluth and leave behind a 16-year-old son.

Gwinnett Police identified the victims in a tragic homicide-suicide Tuesday (April 10) evening in the parking lot at the Gwinnett Place Commons office complex as an Asian Duluth couple Charles Junn, 45, and Sylvia Junn, 44. Sylvia Junn shot herself when confronted by officers arriving at the scene about 7:30 p.m. after shooting her husband and wounding a woman that he apparently had an affair with in the past, according to Cpl. Jake Smith. The police investigation also revealed that all three worked in the office park on Satellite Boulevard in unincorporated Duluth, Smith said. Murder-Suicide Investigated in Duluth

Gwinnett Police report that woman shot a man and woman then turned the gun on herself outside office park.

  Gwinnett Police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide that occurred at the Gwinnett Place Commons office complex near Satellite Boulevard and Steve Reynolds Boulevard in unincorporated Duluth Tuesday night, Channel 2 TV Action News reported. A witness called called 911 after seeing two people lying in the parking lot of the office complex. When police arrived they confronted a woman armed with a gun who shot herself, according to Gwinnett Police Cpl. Jake Smith. She is deceased, Smith said. The woman apparently shot both victims, an Asian male and Hispanic female, and sped away running over the man, then returned to the office park. The female was alive and reported in critical condition after emergency surgery.
