Gwinnett Police Identify Couple in Homicide-Suicide
Charles and Sylvia Junn were residents of Duluth and leave behind a 16-year-old son.
Gwinnett Police identified the victims in a tragic homicide-suicide Tuesday (April 10) evening in the parking lot at the Gwinnett Place Commons office complex as an Asian Duluth couple Charles Junn, 45, and Sylvia Junn, 44. Sylvia Junn shot herself when confronted by officers arriving at the scene about 7:30 p.m. after shooting her husband and wounding a woman that he apparently had an affair with in the past, according to Cpl. Jake Smith. The police investigation also revealed that all three worked in the office park on Satellite Boulevard in unincorporated Duluth, Smith said.
