An update from the Gwinnett County Tax Assessor's Office on property assessment, personal property and the new vehicle title tax. You can submit your tangible personal property returns online: Property owners now have the option to submit their tangible personal property tax returns using the county's new electronic eFile solution. Owners of boats, airplanes, and businesses having fixed assets and/or inventory are required to file an annual Tangible Personal Property Tax Return. It's that time again: Time to pay your Gwinnett County property taxes. And, this year taxes are due a month earlier than last year. As opposed to Nov. 15, all taxes are due in a single installment by Oct. 15, according to a press release from the county. However, those wishing to make two separate payments may do so, as long as the final payment is made by Oct. 15. Bills will be mailed to households by Aug. 15. It’s time to pay the tax man – the Gwinnett County tax man. Gwinnett County 2011 property tax payments are due Tuesday, Nov. 15. Since the Gwinnett Board of Commissioners lowered the millage rate slightly this year, many property tax owners saw their tax bills drop. Tax bills were mailed out in September. In a change from previous years, all bills have a single-installment due date of Nov. 15. There are several ways to remit property tax payments. Property tax payments are accepted at the following Tax Commissioner office locations. Credit cards are not accepted over the counter for property tax payments.
