You can make St. Patrick's Day a lucky day for a dog or cat. The Gwinnett County Animal Welfare Center is sponsoring a Pet Adoption Day from 10 a.m. Saturday, March 17, until 4 p.m. Dogs and cats can be adopted for a $30 cash medical fee on this day. This fee covers sterilization (spay/neuter), vaccinations and a microchip. The Gwinnett County Animal Welfare Center is located at 888 Winder Hwy. in Lawrenceville.
