Gwinnett Patch Editors Greet Expo Attendees

Patch advertising and editorial staff visited with participants and signed up newsletter subscribers at the Gwinnett Chamber Business Expo & Job Fair Thursday afternoon (Aug. 23) at Gwinnett Center in Duluth. Patch joined 150 exhibitors at the Expo. Manning the Patch booth part of the time were Duluth Patch Editor Faye Edmundson, l-r, Suwanee Patch Editor Steve Burns (standing), and Lawenceville Patch Editor Vanzetta Evans. Gwinnett Regional Editor Perry Parks, and editors of the Peachtree Corners Patch, Norcross Patch and new Gwinnett Patch community news sites also vounteered at the booth.

Duluth Patch and other Patch community news sites in Gwinnett County will be participating in the 2012 Gwinnett Chamber Business Expo & Job Fair from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, at Gwinnett Center in Duluth.    Learn about advertising opportunities, meet local editors, and sign up for email newsletters at the Patch booth. The Expo will showcase 150 exhibitors following a Chamber General Membership Luncheon featuring Gov. Nathan Deal, according to a press release issued by the chamber. Human Resource professionals from Gwinnett companies that are currently hiring will be available to meet with job seekers in the Job Fair. Gwinnett Chamber Hosting Expo, Job Fair Today

The Work Spot in Duluth and businesses who work there including Duluth Patch will have a booth at the Expo.

The 2011 Gwinnett Chamber Business Expo & Job Fair offers opportunities for more than 200 exhibitors to generate new business and job seekers to approach companies with openings on Thursday, Aug. 18, at the Convention Center at Gwinnett Center from noon to 5 p.m.  The Business EXPO and Job Fair follows a chamber General Membership Luncheon featuring Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens as the speaker. A new attraction at the Expo this year is a silent auction presented by Delta Community Credit Union. The silent auction requires potential bidders to scavenge for ‘credits’ to use to bid on items by visiting booths. No money is required to participate in the silent auction.
