Gem Shopping Network Founder Charged With DUI

Frank Circelli, founder and chairman of Duluth-based Gem Shopping Network, was arrested early Christmas morning and just after midnight New Year’s Day by Suwanee Police and charged with DUI and traffic violations, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Friday (Jan. 4). Circelli, a Duluth resident, was booked into the Gwinnett County Detention Center after both incidents and then released on bond, according to the AJC and jail records. In the Christmas morning incident, Suwanee Police were dispatched to Settles Bridge Road near Barony Drive where an officer found Circelli asleep in his 2008 Jaguar in a northbound turn lane with an open bottle of Grey Goose vodka, the AJC article stated.
