Eye Candy Art Studio in downtown Duluth offering fish painting and wine sipping class Wednesday, May 1, to raise funds to put fish back in Berkeley Lake.
Eye Candy Art Studio in Duluth is offering a “Fish and Sips” painting and wine sipping class to raise funds to restock the fish in the lake at nearby Berkeley Lake. The lake was drained and the fish removed to repair the dam. Ashley Towers, owner of the art and pottery shop, will lead the class starting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 2. Participants may bring their own bottles of wine. “Carol Seitz of the Berkeley Lake community approached Eye Candy Art Studio about collaborating to help raise funds for re-stocking the lake,” Towers said. “She cleverly named the event ‘Fish and Sips’ to play off the term ‘Fish & Chips.’” A fish-themed canvas painting class was decided upon. New business on Main Street in Duluth hosting grand opening activities Friday, March 22, and Saturday, March 23.
Eye Candy Art Studio invites the community to its grand opening celebration Friday, March 22, and Saturday, March 23, at 3127 Main St. in downtown Duluth. The studio welcomes visitors with a fresh coat of paint. The studio offers art supplies and classes, paint your own pottery, wine sipping and painting classes for adults, and a summer camp for children. Grand opening activities include "Meet and Greet the Artists" from 7-9 p.m. Friday with musical entertainment by the Threadbare Skivvies throughout the evening. Face painting, class registration specials, and pottery discounts will be offered from noon-6 p.m. Saturday. New art studio planning to open March 1 and offer art supplies and classes in downtown Duluth.
Eye Candy Art Studio is planning to open March 1 at 3127 Main Street in Downtown Duluth. Ashley Towers is relocating Peace, Love & Pottery from Buford to the leased Duluth space and renaming the business. A grand opening for the new studio is scheduled March 22-23, she said. Eye Candy Studio Art will offer art supplies, paint your own pottery, wine and painting classes for adults, and a summer camp for children, Towers said. Towers is opening the studio in partnership with Bruno Taillefer, she said.
