Sen. Shafer Honored for Environmental Leadership
Awards given by Georgia Conservation Voters based on votes and leadership on issues.
State Sen. David Shafer (R-Duluth) recently received a 2011 Environmental Leadership Award from Georgia Conservation Voters. He was among 14 members of the Georgia State Senate and 32 members of the Georgia House of Representatives to be so honored, according to an announcement issued by GCV. Georgia Conservation Voters is a statewide non-partisan organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of all Georgians by making conservation issues a top priority with Georgia’s elected officials, political candidates and voters.
