Public Invited to Review GCPS Curriculum
Parents and members of the community may join Gwinnett County Public Schools members to review proposed curriculum materials.
Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) invites parents and members of the community to join GCPS staff members in a review of proposed curriculum materials. Parents may provide input on the proposed materials by participating in the public review. GCPS holds an extensive review before adopting materials for classroom use. Parents, community members, teachers, and administrators review materials to ensure alignment with the school system’s Academic Knowledge and Skills (AKS) curriculum. During this year’s review, scheduled to run from Sept. 17 through 28, GCPS staff and members of the Gwinnett community will review non-fiction books for grades K-12, teacher resources for grades K-8 Language Arts, and Advanced Placement Latin materials.
