Duluth, Gwinnett County Offices Closed Jan. 1
Garbage pick up for Duluth residents and Gwinnett County residents to be delayed by one day.
Duluth city and Gwinnet County offices will be closed New Year’s Day. City offices will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 1, for the New Year’s holiday. All offices will reopen at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2. Duluth residents’ garbage will be picked up Thursday, Jan. 3, for the week of New Year’s instead of the normal Wednesday. Most Gwinnett County government offices will be closed Jan. 1 for the holiday. County offices will resume regular operating hours Jan. 2. There will be no trash or recycling pickup for county residents Jan. 1. Regularly scheduled Tuesday trash and recycling pickups for county residents will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 2. Trash and recycling pickups for the remainder of the week will also be delayed by one day.
