Holiday Toy, Clothing Drive Underway

Duluth-based Georgia United Credit Union collecting donations for deserving foster children.

Duluth-based Georgia United Credit Union is collecting new toys and clothing for foster children as part of its 23rd annual Christmas Wish Tree Program. Donations maybe dropped off at any of the 16 Georgia United Credit Union branch locations in Duluth and throughout the Atlanta metro area before Dec. 14. Deliveries will be made to local Departments of Family & Children’s Services prior to Christmas week. The Christmas Wish Tree is one of Georgia United’s longest running community service projects with an estimated 12,500 gifts donated to multiple county DFCS offices during the tenure of the program, according to an announcement issued by Georgia United Credit Union.
