The former Norcross High School graduate, who stars in "Days of Our Lives," has been nominated for a third time.
Life keeps getting sweeter by the day for former Peachtree Corners resident Chandler Massey. The former drama student at Norcross High stars in the long-running daytime drama "Days of Our Lives" and has been nominated for an Emmy for the third time. The awards take place on June 18. Massey, whose parents Lewis and Amy Massey live in Peachtree Corners, won his first Daytime Emmy in 2012. This year is the third time he's been nominated. "It feels great," said 22-year-old Massey in a report published by PEOPLE. "It's a huge honor, and I'd love to have another piece of hardware, but we'll see what happens in June." The large turnout last month in Suwanee has organizers considering an encore.
The recent turnout in Suwanee for the "Days Of Our Lives" cast appearance has tour organizers thinking of a return trip to the Atlanta area. A tour publicist said this week that the turnout of 2,000 or so in March still is the strongest on the nationwide tour, which included stops in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. New Orleans, the stop following Suwanee, had about 1,000 fans come to see several cast members. Filizzola remarked that the Suwanee turnout reminded the cast of how strong the show's fan base in Atlanta is, so a return is being considered. Fans from as far away as North Carolina, Tennessee and Alabama began lining up at Suwanee's City Hall in mid-afternoon March 21. Two lines -- one for book purchases, one strictly for …

Thousands turn out Monday to see the longtime TV show's cast members.
Some have said that events at City Hall in Suwanee are like a soap opera. Monday, they were right. In what undoubtedly was a one-day record number of people for Suwanee's 2-year-old City Hall, fans of "Days Of Our Lives," a daytime television institution, came from as far away as Alabama and North Carolina to see cast members and purchase books. The event, coordinated through the Gwinnett County Public Library, was in conjunction with the show's 45th anniversary and a book to commemorate that date. The cast members present included one of Gwinnett's own, Norcross High grad Chandler Massey, who plays Will Horton. Among those attending were Massey's parents, Lewis and Amy, his brother and sister, and his grandparents. The fervor was that …
