Car Crashes Into Apartment's Sliding Glass Door
Two adult males inside apartment were not injured. Firefighters respond to report of tractor trailer fire in separate incident.
Gwinnett Firefighters responded about 11:30 a.m. Monday to a report of a car crashing into the sliding glass door of an occupied apartment in an apartment building in the 2000 block of Arbor Drive in Duluth. Two people (adult males) were home at the time, but were not injured, Fire Capt. Tommy Rutledge reported. The car crashed about two foot inside the building in a back bedroom area. "We are fortunate that no one was inside the bedroom at the time of the incident," said Rutledge. The car was being driven by an adult female who lived in a separate apartment within the same complex. It is unclear at this point as to what may have caused the accident, Rutledge said.
