Recycle Your Christmas Trees Through Jan. 18

Trees will be turned into mulch for use in Gwinnett County Parks.

After the holidays, turn your Christmas tree into mulch for Gwinnett County parks. Drop off your undecorated, live trees from Dec. 26-Jan. 18 at one of the many locations in Gwinnett. Visit www.gwinnettcounty.com to see a list of locations. Duluth drop-off locations include: Once the trees are collected, community volunteers will chip them into mulch at Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful's annual Bring One for the Chipper event Jan. 26 from 9 a.m. to noon at Bethesda Park in Lawrenceville. Christmas Tree Chipping Event Rescheduled

'Bring One for the Chipper' rescheduled to Saturday, Jan 28, due to today's severe weather.

  Due to the potential for severe weather, today's (Jan. 21) Christmas Tree chipping event has been cancelled, Connie Wiggins, executive director of Gwinnett Clean announced. "Bring One for the Chipper" will be held next Saturday, Jan. 28, from 9 a.m. to noon at Bethesda Park. Trees will be turned into mulch for use in county parks and other faciltiies.
