Help Send Rainbow Village Kids to Summer Camp

Duluth Rotary Club's Players Party to raise funds for 20-30 children to attend camp this summer at Bunten Road Park.

Like to play Texas Hold’em and Bingo for fun? The Rotary Club of Duluth will host its fourth annual Players Party featuring Texas Hold’em and Bingo from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, at the Atlanta Marriott Gwinnett Place. Rotarians, their friends and families, and members of the community are invited to attend. Socializing starts at 6 p.m. and the games at 7 p.m. Proceeds from the event will cover the cost of sending 20-30 children from Rainbow Village to summer day camp operated by the Duluth Parks and Recreation Department at Bunten Road Park. Rainbow Village offers a one-to-two year transitional program for homeless families with children in Duluth that includes job counseling, parenting classes, and after-school programs. Tickets, …

Play Poker, Bingo to Send Kids to Summer Camp

Rotary Club of Duluth invites community to fundraiser featuring Texas Hold'em Poker and Bingo to send local children to summer day camp.

“Gamble” for fun and for a good cause at the Rotary Club of Duluth’s third annual Players Party — featuring Texas Hold’em and Bingo plus a silent auction — on Thursday, Jan. 26,, at the Gwinnett Place Marriott. The party is scheduled 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Gwinnett Place Marriott at 1775 Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth. Rotarians, their friends and family, and members of the community are invited. Proceeds will cover the cost of sending 20 to 25 children of Rainbow Village to summer day camp at Bunten Road Park in Duluth.
