Barefoot in the Park Fills Duluth Town Green With Art
Festival featured works by 75 regional artists, a 3-D sidewalk chalk painting, and art demonstrations.
Art lovers flocked to Duluth's Town Green May 6-8 for the Barefoot in the Park Fine Arts Festival. A highlight was a 3-D chalk art painting by New York street artist Anthony Cappetto. The festival got underway Friday night with an Art Walk preview and continued Saturday and Sunday. The Town Green took on the appearance of a tent city as it was nearly filled with canvas. The seventh annual Barefoot in the Park featured an Artists Market with 75 outstanding regional artists displaying their art in tented booths, a Children's Art Tent, a Learning Village with artists demonstrating their skills. a Book Bistro, wine tastings, and food vendors.
