Tebow Event Date Changed

Tim Tebow's visit to 12Stone Church in Lawrenceville has been pushed back due to contractual obligations.

NFL quarterback Tim Tebow's visit to Lawrenceville has been delayed by two days. The football star will now speak at 12Stone Church on Friday, May 4, instead of the previously scheduled Wednesday, May 2. He will speak along with author John C. Maxwell.  According to Suwanee-based EQUIP's website: "Tim ran into some NFL contractual obligations. He needs to report to New York during the previously set event date. Therefore, this led us to reschedule the event to May 4, 2012." If you've previously purchased tickets, EQUIP says you will automatically be sent an email with tickets for the new date. Those who cannot attend the rescheduled event will be able to get a refund. Tickets for the event are still available for $25, $50 and $100.

Why charge this amount to see Tim Tebow at a church? I'm sure lots of families would like to attend, but can't afford to buy the tickets at this price. I know that no one in my family could pay that price.   more ›
