The Monarch School moved into 3057 Main St. in Downtown Duluth in 2004 after Duluth Middle School relocated to itsMore current Pleasant Hill Road location. The programs offered by the Monarch School previously had been housed in a different location in Norcross. The Monarch School serves special needs children (ages 3 to 5) and adults (18 to 21). A Gwinnett County Public School, Monarch is also the site of a federally funded Head Start program and state-funded Pre-K program. Dr. Barbara Martin serves as principal.
