Avoid this place! They ripped me off!
I took my beautiful, new, full-length party dress to these people to hem it and press it. The Asian lady told me the price and I wrote it down on the claim check she gave me for my clothes to pick up later. Everything for $80. I wrote it all down and asked her if the price was correct. She said yes. When I went to pick up my dress…Instead of $80 she charged $125. I protested but she demanded $125. I did not have my claim check, so I paid and left. When I tried on the dress I was shocked. The hem was so crooked! It was like waves, too short on the front, longer on sides and way shorter on the back part. The next day I went back to that lady to show her the dress. I put it on with my shoes and demonstrated her mistake. I also pointed out some stains. Then I asked her for a refund, because I have to buy a new dress. But she said no, she is not going to return any money. Then she said the hem is supposed to be too long on the sides. She advised me to buy different shoes with smaller heels. Can you imagine? She just politely kicked me out. Even when I said I will complain and report her to the BBB she answered – go ahead.
I felt ripped off! Once on the price and another on the poor quality of her work. And she knows I cannot do anything because I paid cash. So, guys, be careful, check your clothes before you pay and choose the right place. DO NO GO TO PRO CARE CLEANERS.
