Now serving approximately 11.4 million customers per day, the Burger King fast food chain was started in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1953. In addition to its original offerings of burgers, fries, sodas and milkshakes, Burger King now features a menu that includes chicken and fish sandwiches, salads and breakfast. The recently re-vamped breakfast menu includes English muffin sandwiches, croissant sandwiches, French toast, biscuits, pancakes and a breakfast platter.  Burger King is most famous, however, for its flame-broiled, all-beef Whopper burgers.
