Will There Be Flooding in Duluth?

Heavy rain is taking a toll in some areas of Gwinnett.

Flooding has been reported in some areas near Duluth, but it appears that the Chattahoochee River will not be so affected.

According to weather.gov, the Chattahoochee is well below the flood stage of 12 feet in the area near Duluth, as of Monday (Dec. 23). The last observed value early Monday was 6.87 feet, according to data on the website.

However, flooding was reported Monday in the Suwanee Creek area, from Suwanee Creek Park along the greenway to the area near Suwanee Elementary.
