Duluth Summer Day Camps Start This Week

Duluth Parks and Recreation Department offering 10 weeks of summer fun.

Ten weeks of Duluth Parks and Recreation Summer Day Camps for children ages 4-12 start this week.

Trained, enthusiastic camp staff provides a fun yet structured program. Each week has a different theme and includes outdoor games, sports, crafts and more. Camp is conducted at Bunten Road Park, 3180 Bunten Road.

Here’s the schedule for the camps:

  • Summer Celebration (May 28-31) No camp May 27
  • Let’s Move It, Move It! (June 3-7
  • The Ultimate Summer Survivor (June 10-14)
  • Back to Nature (June 17-21)
  • Travel Through Time (June 24-28)
  • Party in the USA (July 1-5) No camp on July 4
  • Super Heroes Extravaganza (July 8-12)
  • Kid Nation (July 15-19)
  • Duluth’s Got Talent (July 22-26)
  • Aquapalooza (July 29-Aug 2)

Camp half-day hours are 8 a.m.-1 p.m. for ages 4-12. The cost is $80 for Duluth residents and $110 for non-residents.

Full day camp hours are 8 a.m.-6 p.m. for ages 4-12. The cost is $105 for residents and $130 for non-residents.
