Lake Lanier Summer Concerts Start May 11
Drivin' N Cryin' leads off the summer lineup at Peachtree Point Amphitheater Saturday.
As summer 2013 approaches, so does the entertainment portion of Lake Lanier Islands.
Drivin' N Cryin', a popular group in the Atlanta area, will lead off the concert lineup at Peachtree Point Amphitheater on Saturday, May 11, according to the Lake Lanier Islands website
Following will be Sister Hazel (June 22), Georgia Satellites (July 13), with another band "to be announced," the site says. (See the attached video for a Sister Hazel performance.)

Also, the lineup for the fall Blues & Jazz Concert series will begin on Sept. 7, just after Labor Day. Jimmie Vaughan (Sept. 7) and Spyro Gyra (Oct. 5) will be in that lineup.
Concerts begin at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7 p.m.
