Update: 'E.T.' Showing in Duluth Rescheduled

Bring a blanket and a picnic to enjoy on the Duluth Town Green before movie starts. This year is the 30th anniversary of this enchanting movie.

Update: The free showing of the movie "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial" on the Duluth Town Green has been reschduled for 7 p.m. Saturday, July 21, due to a 90 percent chance of rain tonight.

The “Flicks on the Bricks” summer movie festival continues with a free showing of “E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial” on the Friday, July 13.

Festivities begin at 7 p.m. with family activities and games. The movie is shown at dusk on a huge screen. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the 1982 Steven Spielberg movie about a young boy and his sister who befriend an abandoned alien.

The movie is rated PG. Families are encouraged to attend and bring a picnic to enjoy.
