Soccer players ages 5-15 learn skills and sportsmanship at two sessions of Challenger British Soccer Camp at Bunten Road Park in Duluth.
The final week-long session was led by Shane McKay, a native of Sheffield, England, who now lives in Buford. For some camps coaches are flown over from the British Isles.
The camp "gets kids to enjoy soccer, keeps them active, and teaches them the basics of soccer," McKay said.
This is McKay's first year as a coach with the program. He played soccer for Georgia Southwestern State University and decided to remain in Georgia.
