Two Gwinnett Teams Reach 6A Playoff Semifinals

Will another state title come to the county?

Again in 2013, Gwinnett County teams are coming up big in high school football playoffs. Two of the final four teams in the Class 6A playoffs are from Region 7-AAAAAA.

Defending state champ Norcross defeated Lowndes, 28-7, on Friday (Nov. 29), and North Gwinnett defeated host Hillgrove,  35-31, to reach next Friday's semifinal round.

Next week, Norcross will host Colquitt County, and North Gwinnett will face McEachern (site to be determined). The winners will advance to the state title game at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
