And the winners are the Pittsburg Steelers by 2-to-1 over the Green Bay Packers. The fans go wild! No you did not miss the Super Bowl. Just reporting the battle between the two teams playing in the Super Bowl apparel sales at  in . Although a franchise, this is the only Pro Image location in the state of Georgia.

“The Steelers are our No. 1 sellers, year round. Mix in AFC Championship and the Super Bowl and their fans are buying even more,” said David Klingman, Pro Image’s manager and operator. “Of course Green Bay fans are also coming in and walking out with their team’s merchandise. But Steelers merchandise goes faster than any other team.”

Opening in 2004, Pro Image credits its success to the variety of merchandise it carries, clever pricing and to customer service that includes referrals to competitors. If customers cannot find merchandise in Pro Image, Klingman tells them where they can find items among its competitors.

“The way I see it, this helps to create customers because the next time they need anything they come here first. Besides, we are not afraid to send someone someplace else because no one carries the variety of pro and collegiate apparel and merchandise that we do,” said Klingman.

Pro Image carry jerseys, mugs, caps, hoodies, sweatshirts and t-shirts representing teams from all over the country. Most competing stores have merchandise for Georgia teams; Pro Image has Auburn, Michigan, Ohio State and Oregon apparel. They carry Florida items as well. Klingman said Pro Image will stock items that sell. Be it for a season, or all year long. Point proven by Pro Image being the first to stock Michael Vick jerseys after he signed with Philadelphia Eagles.

Donna Howell came in to purchase Auburn merchandise to take with her on her move to Washington, DC. She purchased a hooded sweatshirt, a discounted coffee mug and Klingman gave her an Auburn magnetic decal.

Klingman, a Florida State graduate, and former college baseball player has been with Pro Image since 2007. He manages the day-to-day operations on the store for owner Greg Overstreet.

“Couldn’t ask for a better person to work for and with,” said Klingman about Overstreet. “His instructions are for me to run the store as if it was my own. In doing that I provide discounts and work with customers to get them what they want without charging shipping and handling, but they must pay for the item upfront before I special order.”

Looking for Steelers items to send to a client, Stefan Haladej stopped in and discussed the upcoming Super Bowl.

“[The] Super Bowl should be a good game. It’s going to be interesting to see how these two outdoor teams will play the biggest game in a dome.  What a matchup,” said Haladej.

As a franchise, manufacturers set the quantity of merchandise Pro Image can order for stock. But it does have unique, limited items.

“We have a Cal Ripken autographed baseball glove; an autographed Joe Montana Notre Dame helmet. All of our autographed items come with certificate of authentication,” said Klingman.
