McCann's Charity Softball Event Returning to Coolray Field
The All Star catcher and other celebrities are scheduled to appear.
Free agent All Star catcher Brian McCann and his wife Ashley will be bringing their celebrity softball charity event back to Coolray Field this weekend.
McCann, a Gwinnett resident and Duluth High grad, will host the event for Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research (Rally) on Saturday (Nov. 9) at 12:45 p.m. in Lawrenceville. Gates will open at 11 a.m.
Rally Kids -- kids who have fought or are fighting cancer -- will be the honored guests at the event, according to a news release.
Tickets for the Brian McCann Rally Celebrity Softball Game are free for children 10 and under, $5 for students, and $10 for adults. Other celebrities will appear, according to the release.
McCann technically is a free agent since the Atlanta Braves' season has ended.
