Gwinnett Braves' Losing Streak Sets Record

G-Braves lose 13th straight Thursday.

The Gwinnett Braves will have one chance to end a long losing streak before their next homestand begins Saturday.

On Thursday, the Empire State Yankees routed the G-Braves, 11-5, in Rochester, N.Y. It was the G-Braves' 13th straight loss, breaking the franchise record set by Richmond in 2006. Gwinnett now has lost 25 of 30 games, dating to last month.

Pitcher Julio Teheran had a rough outing. Rochester led 2-0 entering the fourth inning. But the Yankees then erupted for seven runs to chase Teheran. He finished the night allowing 10 hits and nine earned runs in 3.2 innings.
