Get in Free to See G-Braves Today

The Gwinnett Braves have scheduled a free game because of the heavy rains from Hurricane Isaac moving over the area.

There's been another change to the last few days of the Gwinnett Braves' season.

The game against the Pawtucket Red Sox, which was first moved to Tuesday at 2:05 p.m., has been postponed until Wednesday (Aug. 29) afternoon. That game is now scheduled to start at 1:05 p.m. weather permitting.Β

Wednesday's originally scheduled game had already been moved to a doubleheader on Thursday starting at 5:05 p.m. at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville.

Because of all the changes, the G-Braves decided to make all tickets to Wednesday's game free to the public. Tickets to Thursday's games will still be regularly priced.

Thursday is the last game at Coolray Field for the season. The G-Braves' will close the 2012 season on the road against the Norfolk Tides Friday.
