Duluth Wildcats Start Football Practice Monday, Aug. 1

Duluth High School team practices two times daily Aug. 1-5 from 7 to 9 a.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Scrimmage scheduled against Central Gwinnett High School in Lawrenceville Aug. 12.

Football practice for Gwinnett County Public Schools starts Monday, Aug. 1, with the Duluth High School Wildcats practicing twice a day from 7 to 9 a.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Aug. 1-5, according to the DHS website. On Monday and Tuesday, the team will have an extra hour of weight training.

Practice continues after school starting Monday, Aug. 8. Here’s the link to the calendar for additional practice times and game times.Β 

Duluth will scrimmage with Central Gwinnett High School at 7:30 p.m. in Lawrenceville Aug. 12. The first game is scheduled at home Aug. 26 against Archer High. Other Duluth opponents during the season include Northview, Alpharetta, Norcross, Collins Hill, Mountain View, Meadowcreek, Peachtree Ridge, North Gwinnett, and Mill Creek high schools.
