Duluth Wildcats Scrimmage With Black Knights

Duluth High plays against Central Gwinnett High in scrimmage game Friday at Lawrenceville.

Duluth's scrimmage against Central Gwinnett got off to a rocky start Friday with the Wildcats going down by two touchdowns at the start of the first quarter. The Wildcats fought back, however, to tie the game by the middle of the second quarter. Alas, it was not to be the Wildcats' night. The final score was 35 to 20 in favor of the Black Knights.Β

Despite the scrimmage loss, Wildcats Coach Corey Jarvis and the team are anticipating a good season with 15 returning seniors. The Wildcats' first game Aug. 26 is at home at 7:30 p.m.
