Ten high school teams will compete March 8-9 at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville.

Ten high school baseball tams from Gwinnett and Forsyth counties will compete in a two-day, five-game event Friday and Saturday at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville.

On March 8-9, teams from South Gwinnett, Mountain View, Lanier, North Gwinnett, Providence Christian, Duluth, Collins Hill, Brookwood, North Forsyth and Peachtree Ridge will take to the diamond in the event's debut.

“We’ve had singular events before, showcasing some top high school baseball teams in the area,” Gwinnett Braves General Manager North Johnson said in a news release. “Through the efforts of the community and our staff, we have expanded to welcome the largest high school showcase in the history of Coolray Field. We want Coolray Field to be an outlet for the entire county and surrounding areas so they can take part in this one-of-a-kind experience."
