Braves Pitcher Beachy May Rehab in Gwinnett Soon

Heyward continues his stint. The G-Braves return to Coolray on May 18.

When the Gwinnett Braves return to Coolray Field on May 18, yet another high-profile Atlanta Braves player is likely to join them.

Pitcher Brandon Beachy, who is recovering from off-season arm surgery, could start the G-Braves' Sunday (May 19) game on a rehab assignment, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Beachy, 26, had so-called "Tommy John" elbow surgery in the off-season, and he could have several starts with Gwinnett before being activated again by Atlanta.
