'$3 Thursday' Again Tonight at Coolray Field

Pastornicky back in Gwinnett. Lehigh Valley ends G-Braves win streak Wednesday.

The Gwinnett Braves will try to start a new winning streak Thursday at Coolray Field. And fans can help as it again is $3 Thursday. General admission seating on the berm is $3, and there will be food/drink specials during the game with Lehigh Valley.

On Wednesday, Lehigh Valley scored three times in the eighth for a 6-3 victory that ended Gwinnett's win streak at five.

Ernesto Mejia was 3-for-5 with two RBI for Gwinnett, which still leads the International League South. Dusty Hughes was the loser in relief for Gwinnett.

Also Wednesday, the Braves sent shorstop Tyler Pastornicky back to Gwinnett, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. Pastornicky slumped recently, withΒ  seven errors, and he had the lowest fielding percentage among major league shortstops.
