Duluth Merchants Proudly "Expose" Themselves at Mini Expo

Duluth Merchants Association encouraged DMA member businesses to "expose" themselves and their product/services for all the world to see at the first DMA Mini Expo.

It was a balmy spring evening on April 3rd, when leaders of the Duluth Merchants Association encouraged local DMA member businesses to "expose" themselves and their product/services for all the world to see. The show was followed by applause: Cameras flashed, and video cameras rolled. Names and phone numbers were exchanged.

This was the first Duluth Merchants Association Mini Expo. Held at the Duluth Festival Center on the Town Green. DMA member businesses flaunted their goods and services. Eight-foot vertical banners framed creative display tables offering promotional give-a-ways and enticements. Handshakes and business cards flew around the room. The Positive Public Image monitor looped its colorful images and Duluth Patch DMA blogs to entertain and inform guests. Friendships and "business-ships" were crafted. Everyone enjoyed tasty southern food provided by caterer and DMA member Lynda Alley of Duluth Rexall Grill.

Don't worry if you missed the Mini Expo. Since it was highly successful, Duluth Merchants Association and friends are planning expos quarterly. Attendance is open to the public, but you must be a member to exhibit.

Become a DMA member and you too can "expose" yourself and your business for the Duluth community and all the world to see. Just think, four times a year you'll have an opportunity to stand side by side with your favorite local businesses, share business cards, get your picture taken, and bring positive attention to your business.

Work on your presentation pitch. Gather your collateral, and get ready to join the fun. It's good for your business, and good for the local economy.

See you there!

Positively yours, Sheri and Bill
