Old School Photos, Artifacts Sought for Exhibit

Duluth Historical Society wants to borrow items to display in Duluth History Museum.

 

The Duluth Historical Society is seeking the loan of school items for an upcoming exhibit. “We need old school pictures and albums and old school jerseys and T's,” said DHS President Judy Wilson. “We want to represent all the schools in the area.”

The society is especially looking for photos and artifacts from the original Duluth School, currently the , on Main Street and from early classes at .

Oral school memories are also being accepted, she said.

The items will be displayed at the Duluth History Museum in the and will be returned after the exhibit concludes. To donate items call 770-232-7584. The museum, located at 2956 Buford Highway, is open Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 3 p.m.
