The workshop will be led by Jennifer Hasser, executive director of the Syllables Reading Center, who recently launched a non-profit tutoring resource for students identified as “struggling learners.”

The two-hour workshop will include a simulation to help participants understand decoding, comprehension, vocabulary, and written expression, according to Eleanor Mallory, regional coordinator for Parent to Parent of Georgia.
